About The Position
We are looking for a MATERIAL HANDLER to join our team in Saskatoon, SK! Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Material Handler completes general labour duties in a manufacturing environment, including handling raw materials and finished goods, production support, equipment operation, housekeeping and quality inspections.
Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Operate plastic drain pipe production lines
- Remove, package and sort raw materials or finished products using manual or electrical equipment
- Weigh all manufactured products on the winder
- Quickly identify quality problems during visual inspection of finished products
- Read and interpret work orders
- Complete production/quality reports
- Assist with equipment repairs and adjustments
- Maintain a clean, clear and safe work environment
