The Material Handler role is an on-site position where the individual will be responsible for maintaining inventory identification and locations, delivering items to the production line, operating a forklift, and unloading trucks and racks. This role is crucial for supporting the production process and ensuring accurate inventory management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Data entry and computer skills required.
  • Must successfully complete forklift training.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years related experience preferred.
  • MRP/ERP (Fourthshift) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with workplace safety procedure.
  • Regular and reliable attendance, which includes punctuality and working scheduled overtime, is necessary to meet our commitment to provide quality products and service to our customer.
  • Maintain inventory identification and locations.
  • Correct and transfer items in the MRP system.
  • Move received items from dock to assigned inventory locations.
  • Label and move rejected items to the non-conforming skids to QA office.
  • Use restocking list or answer production request to deliver items to the production line.
  • Inspect product to ensure they are correct before delivering to production.
  • Maintain open communication with team members.
  • Work to help other team members as needed.
  • Complete material/inventory investigations to ensure accurate physical and system representation.
  • Maintain and complete Standard Work and documentation to track task accomplishment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
