About The Position

We are currently looking for a Material Handler to assist the distribution team with the distribution of material, equipment, and supplies during Outages and On-Line operations. This position is located in York, South Carolina.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Significant material handling experience.
• Ability to be forklift qualified and maintain qualifications.
• Ability to operate the more complex and critical equipment associated with Material Handler Duties.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. (heavy lifting required from time to time.)
• Must have a valid State issued Driver's License.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Possess good oral and written communication.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and communications, technical requirements, procedures and directives associated with working at a nuclear power plant.
• Commitment to personal safety and industrial safety.

Nice To Haves

• Hold a valid Commercial Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Assist the distribution team with distribution of material, equipment and supplies during Outages and On-Line operations.
• Operate various forklifts, stand and reach, motorized pallet jack, Ottawa operation and other moving equipment.
• Operate more complex and critical equipment associated with Material Handler Duties.
• Complete Basic Rigging as required.
• Maintain RWT Qualifications and all required training.
• Proactively support Westinghouse and Duke Energy programs, policies, procedures, strategic plans and specific goals.
• Be assertive and self-motivated, with ability to work independently or with minimum over site.
