About The Position

The Material Handler plays a critical role in bridging inventory, shipping, and production operations. This position is responsible for transporting raw materials to production lines, moving finished goods to the warehouse, performing accurate inventory transactions in the ERP system, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company and OSHA standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Visual ERP or Shop Floor Mobile is a plus
  • Forklift certification is a plus; company will train qualified candidates
  • Any coursework or certification in supply chain or logistics (e.g., APICS CPIM) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Deliver raw materials and supplies to manufacturing work centers in a timely manner to prevent production downtime.
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial vehicles (PIV) to move goods throughout the facility.
  • Scan and record inventory movements using the ERP/Inventory system and perform daily cycle counts with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Unload incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and prepare finished products for shipping, including packing, labeling, and crating.
  • Adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety protocols. Maintain warehouse and production areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner consistent with 5S standards.
  • Review production orders, packing lists, and inventory documents to verify accuracy and completeness.
