About The Position

Foot Locker is holding open interviews on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at their distribution center located at 10 Isidor Ct., Sparks, NV 89441. This is an opportunity to interview on the spot for various seasonal positions, including Material Handler, Equipment Operator, and Maintenance Technician III. Seasonal Material Handler and Equipment Operator positions are for 90 days with the possibility of extension or conversion based on business needs and performance. Requirements

Must be 18 years and older to apply.

Required to stand (stationary position) during scheduled hours.
Hours usually include weekends, evenings and holidays in conjunction with labor regulations.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to communicate using various methods.
Kneeling, stooping, using stairs, reaching, pulling and moving weights of 0-25 pounds constantly and 25-40 pounds occasionally and over 40 pounds seldomly with or without assistance as needed.
Ability to move up to 40 pounds at least 25 feet in distance occasionally with assistance as needed.
Based on business necessity, associates may be required to temporarily work in other locations that require different physical demands.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to read, write, conduct business-related mathematics, and analyze data as required
Basic proficiency in speaking and understanding English to comprehend safety instructions, participate in safety drills and effectively communicate in case of emergencies
6+ months of previous experience in a warehouse facility preferred
6+ months of previous relevant equipment operations experience
High School Diploma or GED
Proficient computer skills
Comfortable 30-40 feet in the air on equipment
High School Diploma or GED
Other experience required will depend on Technician Level - III

Responsibilities

Accurately use and operate an RF scanning device
Efficiently and accurately process orders by packing merchandise for shipment to stores and customers
Unload merchandise for processing and load merchandise for shipment
Process Return To Vendor, returned and liquidation items
Safely operate all equipment within the distribution center, including order picker, swing reach truck, reach truck, and any other machines as needed
Ensure all assigned equipment is fully operational at beginning of shift and at full capacity, including checking for damage and reporting all damages or malfunctions to supervisor immediately
Operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights and maneuver equipment in and around tight corners, through staging areas, and around pedestrian traffic in a safe manner
Perform routine inspections and cleaning on assigned equipment and refer any defects or needed repairs to the supervisor or maintenance team
Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment, referring any defects or needed repairs to the supervisor
All other duties as assigned based on Technician level - III

Benefits

Base Pay Rates: Material Handler: $20.12 / hr
Equipment Operator: $23.00 / hr
Maintenance Technician: $21.00 - $38.50 / hr
Shift Differentials: 2nd Shift: $1.00 per hour worked
3rd shift: $1.25 per hour worked
Weekend shift: Should you meet your full scheduled 36.00 hours, 40.00 will be paid out.
