About The Position

Come make a difference in our community by Making Healthy Happen! This role involves driving and certifying on various powered industrial trucks (PITs) to move raw materials and finished goods. The Material Handler will read and understand Bills of Materials and Bills of Lading, complete BOLs for completed loads, and operate a scan gun and JD Edwards system for product management and printing bills of lading. This position also involves identifying external customers, directing them to appropriate doors, and completing required paperwork. The Material Handler will troubleshoot shipping issues, scan confirmed loads into Docushare, and communicate when live loads arrive. Requirements

High School Diploma/GED required
Basic understanding of Supply Chain and Warehouse flow
Experience in Logistics (Warehouse Shipping and Receiving)
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision
Frequent standing, walking and sitting
Occasional pushing and pulling
Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
Frequent reaching away from the body

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with forklift and powered industrial trucks preferred
Prior dispatch experience is desirable
Prior experience with JD Edwards is desirable
A working knowledge of GMP, FDA, and OSHA regulations and guidelines a plus

Responsibilities

Drives and certifies on Forklift, clamp truck, walkie rider, as well as other PITs, to move raw materials and finished goods.
Reads and understands Bills of Materials and Bills of Lading.
Complete BOLs for completed loads.
Operate scan gun and JD Edwards’s system to locate and scan product into various product locations and to print bills of lading.
Identify external customers by directing customers to appropriate doors, completing required paperwork
Troubleshooting shipping issues
Scan confirmed loads into Docushare
Communicate when live loads arrive
