Material Handler/ Cherry Picker Operator - Allentown, PA
About The Position
The Material Handler is responsible for loading and unloading product shipments between trucks and the shipping/receiving platform; picking, putting away, and counting products in case or pallet quantities; and using an RF scanner and/or pick label to verify item, quantity, and location when picking or receiving. The role also operates multiple pieces of motorized equipment safely and properly. The position is at Wasserstrom’s Bethlehem Distribution Center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and offers a first-shift schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with Saturdays required when needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of previous forklift experience; preferred but not required.
