About The Position

This position is for a Material Handler in a DC Warehouse, with two openings available. The role involves operating a forklift, assisting with the receipt and storage of materials, and managing incoming and outgoing shipments. Accuracy in inventory and transactions is crucial, along with maintaining an excellent attendance record. Responsibilities also include performing cycle counts, inspecting incoming trucks, wrapping and moving finished goods, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness.

Requirements

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good math and communication skills
• Motivated and self-starter
• Work with speed and accuracy with little supervision
• Able to follow instructions well
• Must be well organized
• Able to work a 12 hours shift
• Able to pass functional capacity exam to lift 50lbs and push/pull 75lbs
• Must be able to communicate face-to-face and over the phone
• Requires good visual acuity with depth perception and color vision
• This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive position

Nice To Haves

• 1 - 2 years warehouse experience
• Experience in warehouse functions of JDE
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Must be organized and able to multi-task and solve issues in a timely manner

Responsibilities

• Drive forklift
• Assist in receipt and storage of incoming and outgoing materials
• Read and understand Bill of Ladings and ST/OT paperwork
• Be proficient with Scan gun and JDE System
• Maintain an outstanding attendance record
• Ensure Inventory/Transaction Accuracy
• Assist with cycle counts
• Inspect trucks for all loads entering
• Wrap and move finished goods
• Dump trash and keep warehouse space clean
