Material Handler - 3rd Shift
About The Position

As Michigan’s premier fabricator and installer of granite, marble, and quartz, we are known for unmatched quality, cutting-edge fabrication, and a relentless focus on customer service. The role involves handling the transfer of material in and out of the production floor using forklifts and overhead cranes, assisting in putting remnants back into inventory, general housekeeping, recording of inventory, and shop organization and cleanliness. The job is part of building beautiful spaces for homes, hospitals, schools, and businesses across the region.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or higher
- Ability to use measuring tools and read a tape measure
- Be able to decipher color variations in stone material
- Excellent communication skills
- Work well in a manufacturing teamwork environment
- Good math skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with tracking programs
Responsibilities
- Assist in the movement of slab material in and out of inventory
- Keeping area clean and organized
- Accomplish production results by working with the material handling team
- Participate in production studies and improvements to improve efficiency
- Compliance with organizational policies and procedures, including code of conduct and attendance policy
