The job's primary purpose or contribution to the department is the control and transport of raw materials and finished product from receipt to stocking locations, and the incumbent is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory. The job's essential or most important functions and responsibilities include operating a Forklift and other material handling equipment, transferring material between locations by loading and unloading trucks and properly storing materials, keeping accurate records and performing accurate electronic transactions (inventory movement, lot tractability etc), contributing to the quality system through continuous improvement and involvement in other waste eliminating activities, assisting in picking, packing, and other warehouse duties as required, managing warehouse cycle counts, and performing related duties as assigned. The role also involves maintaining and promoting Fenner Drives Values and Behaviors at all times. The level of safety accountability needed to successfully accomplish the essential duties of this job includes learning and following EHS policies, rules and work instructions, attending required EHS training, wearing the required PPE at all times, taking personal responsibility for keeping yourself and your co-workers and visitors free from injury by participating in and/or conducting risk assessments, work place inspections, corrective actions and safety observations, reporting incidents, near miss, unsafe conditions, unsafe acts and other hazards in the work place, stopping work when imminent danger is present, and maintaining the work area in a neat and orderly fashion and keeping equipment in proper working condition.
