About The Position
CMC is looking for a dependable Material Handler to help move, organize, and deliver materials throughout our commercial modular building facility. This position plays a key role in keeping production running efficiently by ensuring materials are in the right place at the right time. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- Experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling preferred
- Forklift certification or prior experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move materials safely
- Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work independently when needed
- Willingness to work day or night shift as assigned
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand
- Deliver raw materials, parts, and supplies to designated production areas
- Stage materials for upcoming production orders and pick-ups
- Maintain accurate records of material movement and storage locations
- Assist with receiving shipments and verifying packing lists
- Keep storage and staging areas neat, safe, and well-organized
- Follow all safety procedures for material handling and equipment operation
- Communicate with team members to coordinate efficient material flow
