About The Position

Arcosa Shoring is currently searching for a Material Handler for our Receiving Department. As a Material Handler at Arcosa Shoring, you will expedite the movement of raw and finished materials. You will pull and deliver materials to control the flow of goods.

Requirements

Able to read and write in English & Spanish.
Able to read a tape measure
Must be able to operate a forklift and pass in-house certification.
Safely and efficiently perform all essential functions.
Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Ability to function as a team member.
Must have a valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

Ability to measure square inches on a steel plate preferred

Responsibilities

Work in a warehouse/outside environment to issue parts/supplies to internal customers
Operate forklifts and combilifts
Conduct Quality inspections as needed
Check incoming material against BOL for accuracy
Update inventory tracking software
Complete knowledge of all workstations, loading, and storage requirements of materials
Backfill for other MOEs when needed
Be aware of and observe all safety practices. Including but not limited to- Safety glasses, safety boots, hearing protection, etc… as required
Know and follow all safety rules and procedures.
Participate in safety committees and initiatives as assigned.
