Requirements

• GED or High School Diploma.
• Knowledge of basic mathematical foundations, which will be assessed separately.
• Holds a valid and current forklift certification, with hands‑on experience operating Crown Narrow Aisle and/or Raymond Narrow Aisle Reach truck equipment.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or carry up to 25kg throughout the shift.
• Current residence within a commutable distance of the Scarborough / Toronto location
• Willingness and ability to work onsite in Scarborough at least 5 days per week.
• Candidates must currently be at least 18 years of age AND possess unrestricted authorization to work in Canada.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
• This is a safety sensitive position, and it requires the use of an N9 NIOSH-approved fitted respirator (“N95”) or an approved alternative.
• Successful candidates will be required to go through appropriate fit-testing and will be required to wear an N95 while performing their duties.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
• Microsoft DAX or other ERP knowledge is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Communicates all relevant operational matters on an ongoing basis.
• Performs duties in accordance with established procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Transfers material/finished goods from bagging and/or bakeries into inventory, etc.
• Keeps material and racks, clean & tidy.
• Keeps narrow aisle reach truck clean, tidy & safe.
• Follows material movement practices, maintains extensive knowledge of storage, movement and safe handling of goods.
• Checks that all materials are correctly stored and transferred using the Radio Frequency device.
• Maintains inventory counts and levels.
• Communicates internally with other departments for the purpose of gathering, distributing materials and maintaining inventory.
