About The Position

Responsible for the movement of raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift truck. May also utilize cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other moving equipment to meet job requirements. Performs work under direct supervision and handles basic issues and problems. This is a safety-sensitive position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED
Ability to read and write English
Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs. for 100 feet
Ability to perform basic math skills
Previous forklift experience
Must be able to sit for long periods of time and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions

Use of handheld measuring tools
Basic computer skills and knowledge, such as with database programs and Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

Accurately remove and stock product, customer’s product, and various supplies according to inventory plan.
Accurately select product to fill customer orders and package them properly.
Load and unload trucks and verify that correct items are loaded and unloaded.
Picking, processing and packing orders; may be required to cut orders on Kaltenbach saw.
Complete cycle counts.
Identify, hold, and segregate defective material.
Complete paperwork per work instructions, when required.
Perform general clean up.
Inspect forklift at the beginning of every shift and report issues to immediate supervisor or other designated personnel.
Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, ISO and 6S Initiatives and requirements.
Assist in any other duties to support the operation, as requested by supervisor or team lead.
