About The Position

Picks and packs orders for shipping to customers and receives and stocks inventory. This role involves various tasks related to warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, inventory management, and receiving.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all aspects of packing orders: Box assembly, filling box with items per order, scanning each item into system for accuracy, filling with protective packing materials if necessary, sealing and labeling box for shipping.
  • Ensures accurate preparation of packages as required by various hazardous material regulations.
  • Uses scanner/computer/printer for processing shipments.
  • Performs all aspects of picking orders: Locating items on shelves per the order, scanning items, and pulling for packing.
  • Utilizes the DHR to pick raw materials for the kit assembly area, including documenting lot #s and expiration dates (if applicable).
  • Picking items may require the use of a cart, pallet jack or forklift.
  • Uses hand-held scanner for scanning items and locations.
  • Performs all aspects of receiving items into warehouse: Matching receiving ticket with order and checking if all items have arrived.
  • Documents incoming inspection to validate no damage to product.
  • Produces labels for each item and labels accordingly.
  • Appropriately documents unused raw materials from the kit assembly area being returned to the warehouse.
  • Enters item into system, and puts in the warehouse location on shelf, etc.
  • Assists with periodic cycle counting of warehouse inventory.
  • Produces fingerprint powder utilizing appropriate PPE.
  • Assists with cleaning of warehouse, and keeping it organized.
  • Complies with all Company policies (i.e. personnel, PPE, safety, etc.).
  • Inspects machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantees safety by performing regular maintenance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
