About The Position

This role is responsible for delivering raw materials and packaging supplies to the production department, adhering to "FIFO" (First-In, First-Out) practices, and ensuring accurate package labeling and inventory amounts. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong spatial reasoning and time management skills, and forklift experience or certification. The work environment involves wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), passing a company physical, lifting up to 70 lbs, and performing various physical movements. The shift for this position is from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Capable of thinking creatively and spatially, in order to efficiently and effectively organize inventory
Demonstrates excellent time management skills
Forklift operating experience/certification

Responsibilities

Pulling raw materials and packaging supplies for production
Returning raw materials to warehouse and verifying label accuracy prior to putting material away
Grinding resin for production usage as requested by management
Ensuring the warehouse is clean and organized
Performing duties involved in cycle counts and scheduled inventories
Pulling raw materials from warehouse for inter-company transfers as requested
Updating management of status of inventory and providing feedback of recommended adjustments
Preparing and organizing used pallets for pickup as required
Maintaining central vacuum filters, cleaning and emptying boxes
Maintaining dust collector
Performing bare metal cleanout of grinder as needed
Repairing damaged containers (finished goods and raw materials), repackaging when necessary and labeling all finished goods or raw material properly
Assisting shipping department with repackage requests and loading and unloading shipments as necessary
Supporting warehouse team and production with overtime as needed
