About The Position

Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, warehouse distribution, and materials handling will ensure smooth shipping, receiving, and inventory processes.

Requirements

• Must be able to operate a forklift safely.
• Know how to use the pallet wrapping machine.
• Load and unload tables as necessary.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Put wrapped pallets in locations.
• Pay attention to detail.
• Have legible handwriting.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Have good attendance and be punctual.
• Less than high school education, or up to one month of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
