About The Position

Avalon Services Group is seeking Material Handler Associates for a distribution center operated by a full-service logistics provider serving South Carolina and beyond. The customer provides transportation, warehousing, and distribution services. The position pays $16.50 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Material Handlers assist with receiving, preparing, processing, and shipping items. The work involves unloading trucks, palletizing boxes, using scanners and computers to fulfill orders, packing items with packaging equipment, and correctly labeling boxes. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, punctuality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. Physical activities include frequent standing and walking, repetitive hand and wrist motions, communication, and occasional handling of items up to 20 pounds.

Avalon Services Group provides staffing solutions to warehouses, logistics centers, and distribution centers. A designated Site Coordinator supports employees from orientation onward.
