About The Position

Taylor Corporation is looking for a Material Handler to join our team in Duluth, GA. In this role, you’ll help keep materials moving efficiently throughout the facility while supporting receiving, inventory, and production operations. Requirements

• Ability to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
• Basic computer skills and ability to use inventory tracking systems
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, fractions, and decimals
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a production environment
• Ability to follow established safety procedures
• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• 1+ years of warehouse, material handling, or related experience

Responsibilities

• Unload and stage incoming shipments using material handling equipment
• Prepare and break down inbound shipments and verify accuracy
• Put away products and materials in designated locations
• Pull orders accurately using paper or electronic order systems
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Move materials to designated areas throughout the facility
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
• Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment and performing job duties
