About The Position

Rockwell Automation is seeking a full-time Material Handler Team Lead for their FA materials department. This is a 1st Shift role, working Monday through Thursday from 05:30 AM to 03:30 PM. The position involves performing physical and administrative tasks related to shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Responsibilities include checking received goods against purchase orders, maintaining records, rejecting unsatisfactory items, lifting heavy items, and potentially operating a forklift. The role also involves preparing and maintaining records of shipped merchandise, posting weights and shipping charges, and preparing goods for final shipment. Additionally, the Material Handler Team Lead will examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines, and may prepare kitting packages for assembly production.

Requirements

A minimum of High School Diploma/GED OR 6 years of verified related experience.
A minimum of 3 years of leading a team.

Responsibilities

Lead and communicate activities, goals, and deadlines to the team.
Delegate tasks, provide updates on orders, and coordinate work with different departments.
Utilize documented work instructions and manufacturing execution systems for receiving, picking, or delivering parts.
Assemble products, deliver materials to the production area, pick up waste, and deliver finished products on a scheduled basis following a set route.
Review documentation and use SAP/external systems to assess, replenish, and prioritize material and finished goods to support production and shipping processes.
