About The Position

Our Shipping Material Handler is instrumental as we deliver quality service to our customers. Expect thorough training in our inventory location process which requires a focus on accuracy and detail. There is a family dynamic at The Pond Guy that extends to the customer as we strive to give them the highest quality service possible.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in shipping experience
High School Diploma, College degree preferred
Organized and detail oriented
Beginner to Intermediate-level computer experience
Ability to follow procedures methodically
Forklift experience a plus
Manual dexterity for working with small components
Ability to complete repetitive motions for long periods of time
Bending, continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 50 lbs. and managing packages up to 150 lbs
Standing/stooping for long periods of time
Comfortable with heights and operating a large turret forklift after proper training
Positive attitude
Must be available to work scheduled hours and at least 2 Saturdays per month during peak times.

Responsibilities

Replenishing the forward pick locations remain stocked
Cycle counts of inventory
Organizing and maintaining stock locations within warehouses
Consolidating overflow items to optimize warehouse space
Assist in small parcel and MTR shipping
Operate all equipment in a safe and productive manner, following all company prescribed guidelines and safety practices
Maintain clean and organized environment
