About The Position

This role requires strict adherence to company and plant safety policies and procedures, including the completion of all annual training and wearing required personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, and safety footwear) for the entire shift. The Material Handler/Shipping Receiving Clerk will operate a forklift to move stock and manage shipments, transfer material within the company system, and accurately check, receive, and prepare products for shipment. Responsibilities also include conducting semi-annual and annual inventory counts, preparing shipments by building crates, wrapping, labelling, and strapping, and assisting with various other duties as assigned by the management team.

Requirements

• Ability to strictly adhere to company and plant safety policies and procedures.
• Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, and safety footwear) during the entire shift.
• Proficiency in using a forklift to move stock, load and unload shipments.
• Skill in transferring material to required locations in the company system.
• Accuracy in checking, receiving, and preparing product for shipment.
• Ability to conduct semi-annual and annual inventory counts.
• Capability to prepare shipments by building crates, wrapping, labelling, and strapping.
• Willingness to assist in various assignments and/or duties as assigned by the management team.
