Shipping & Receiving Clerk /Material Handler
About The Position
Power Temp Systems is seeking a dependable, hardworking Material Handler / Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily warehouse and material movement operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring materials are received, staged, moved, and shipped accurately and efficiently. This position is primarily focused on assisting with moving materials throughout the warehouse and shop to support production and shipping needs. It is a hands-on, physical role ideal for someone who enjoys staying active and working in a team-driven environment. Requirements
- Comfortable performing physical work throughout the day
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic understanding of warehouse organization and staging
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Attention to detail and safety awareness
- Valid driver's license required
Nice To Haves
- Previous warehouse, material handling, or shipping & receiving experience
- Forklift experience (certification is a plus)
Responsibilities
- Assist with moving materials throughout the warehouse, yard, and shop areas
- Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments
- Stage materials for production, shipping, or customer pickup
- Assist with receiving, verifying, and organizing incoming materials
- Prepare materials for shipment including packaging and labeling
- Support inventory organization and stock placement
- Maintain clean and organized warehouse areas
- Assist other departments with material handling needs as required
- Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures
