About The Position

The Wilkes-Barre, PA facility has an immediate opening for a MATERIAL HANDLER on the 7am-7pm shift. Requirements
- Drives electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift and clamps, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials.
Responsibilities
- Drives electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift and clamps, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials.
- Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
- In compliance with the Warehouse Safety Procedures, properly stages material in specified location.
- Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
- Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
- Inventories materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed including trays for lines.
- Maintains proper inventory in resin room.
- Stores unused components and deissue to specified location.
- Moves finished product into specified area in the warehouse.
- Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.
- Lubricates truck, recharges batteries.
- Complies with company personnel and safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Performs special projects and assignments as directed by supervisory personnel.
