About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring the safe operation of a forklift truck, maintaining inventory rotation for FIFO (First-In, First-Out), and supporting team objectives. The position also involves maintaining good housekeeping in the work area and plant, adhering to IATF requirements, and performing other assigned duties to support plant operations.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend operational work instructions.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds overhead as needed.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work necessary overtime, which may include weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Ensures forklift truck is fully safe to operate by checking for safety items and completing forklift check sheet at beginning of each shift.
• Shares responsibility for rotating inventory to ensure FIFO.
• Accepts assignments and other responsibilities as required in support of team objectives.
• Maintains good housekeeping in work area and throughout the plant.
• Adheres to applicable IATF requirements.
