About The Position
This role is responsible for moving materials within the service center, maintaining safety standards, and supporting team efforts to meet production goals. The position offers opportunities for professional growth and skill enhancement.
Requirements
- Minimal manufacturing and/or warehouse experience is required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow processes & procedures.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to mount & dismount equipment.
- Capable of walking, climbing and bending for periods of time.
- Comfortable working in hot and cold atmospheres depending on weather conditions.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of lift truck/crane operation experience
- Lift truck experience handling heavy loads (10,000 pounds or more)
Responsibilities
- Operate lift trucks/crane to transport, store, rotate, and stage materials within the service center.
- Review product counts to ensure accuracy.
- Perform daily lift truck inspections.
- Move up and down from lift truck.
- Report any equipment issues.
- Work collaboratively with team to meet goals.
- Contribute to housekeeping procedures.
- Complete additional job-related responsibilities as assigned.
