About The Position

Recycling Management Resources (RMR) is seeking a Full Time Plant Laborer for its Haw River, NC plant. The Laborer is responsible for supporting plant operations in a safe and effective manner while maintaining the production floor. This is a full-time position with hourly pay based on experience. The shift hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM, with the possibility of extended hours as needed.

Requirements

• 0-2 years’ experience in an industrial environment
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• High awareness to safety at all times
• Ability to handle confidential information with a high degree of integrity
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate equipment properly and safely
• Strict adherence to OSHA and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Performing manual material separation for processing
• Removing non-compliant materials during the sorting process
• Handling and storage of incoming materials in the appropriate area of the plant
• General plant housekeeping inside and outside the building
• Reporting equipment issues to supervisor/maintenance staff
