About The Position

The warehouse operator receives instructions from the supervisor or warehouse support regarding the loading schedule. Based on the orders to be prepared, they organize work according to priority, while following oral and/or written instructions (recorded in SharePoint). Safely operates warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks and hand jacks to facilitate order picking and inventory management Assists with inventory and cycle counting Follows scan/SAP instructions indicating replenishment needs Follows management instructions to improve work methods and prevent complaints or damages Checks prepared orders Stores completed orders in stock Ensures overseas packaging complies with required standards Adapts to changes in work priorities Mains order and cleanliness and ensures regular cleaning by order pickers Respects environmental guidelines and ensures compliance with safety rules and monitors safety practices Reports all relevant information to supervisors to enable performance reporting to management by completing the end-of-shift report (documenting activities performed during the shift) Assists colleagues when needed Requests creation of new storage locations to avoid order splits Checks open transfer orders (TOs) daily to ensure orders are completed before loading begins Transmits location data to the supervisor to ensure correct master data updates Ensures best practices among order pickers and proposes improvement initiatives Conducts 5S audits according to instructions

Requirements

  • 2+ years of recent experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment, with a valid license preferred
  • 2+ years of order picking or similar warehouse experience required
  • Knowledge of warehouse layout and locations (Hall A & B, powder warehouse, picking area)
  • Product knowledge
  • Warehouse procedures
  • Ability to use scanning equipment
  • Ability to estimate order volume to select appropriate packaging
  • Knowledge of packaging requirements
  • Ability to use a scale
  • Ability to replenish pick locations
  • Good physical strength and stamina are necessary, as the role involves lifting heavy objects and staying on feet for extended periods
