About The Position

The Material Handler will be responsible for transporting materials, supplies, and products to designated locations. This role ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished products for final distribution. The Material Handler will operate manual and/or powered pallet jacks and other material handling equipment in a safe manner. They will accurately move, scan, count, and record materials to maintain inventory integrity. Responsibilities also include receiving raw materials and packaging supplies, staging them for production use, and contributing to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage areas. The role requires observing and maintaining company sanitation and food safety standards, reporting any damaged products, packaging defects, food safety concerns, or inventory discrepancies immediately, and following all rules, guidelines, and GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices). This position performs other related duties as assigned to support production, warehouse, and operational needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate
• Candidates should be self-starters with a strong work ethic and the ability to prioritize their workload to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Communication: Exhibit honest and clear communication, both orally and written, for effective teamwork. Treat everyone equally with respect- listen to others and make them feel valued. Where customer decisions or food safety is a concern, communicate on a higher level.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a food production environment is helpful
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, OSHA, USDA, and food safety requirements is preferred.
