Material Handler Operator 1st Shift - North Richland Hills, TX (In the Greater Dallas/Ft Worth Area)

Position Summary (Nature & Scope) The primary function of the Material Handler is to supply raw materials and packaging to the plant. This role supports warehouse operations by receiving, storing, managing inventory, and loading/unloading trailers.
Requirements
- 6 months work history with the same employer
- 1 year of forklift operator experience (can be multiple employers) listed on the application
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to maintain effective working relationships.
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. approximately 15% of the time .
- Ability to work in temperature extremes ranging from 40°F to 110°F .
Responsibilities
- Receive, pick, and put away all materials stocked in the warehouse.
- Operate forklift and/or pallet jack to stock or pull materials.
- Record all inventory transactions accurately, including: Weights (lbs.) Box counts Dates Suppliers Lot numbers Storage locations
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory management activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area; keep boxes free of debris.
- Rotate materials according to age, temperature, or other specified criteria.
- Follow all Tyson , USDA , safety, sanitation, and food safety regulations.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report injuries, hazards, and unsafe conditions immediately.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
