About The Position

As a Material Handler here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient movement, storage, and management of materials within our operations. Your efforts will ensure that production and supply chain activities run smoothly, contributing directly to meeting customer demand and operational excellence. You will report directly to our Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Muncie, IN location on an On-site work schedule 1st Shift. In this role, you will impact the overall efficiency of our supply chain by accurately handling materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting timely production and shipping processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in material handling or warehouse operations within a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Knowledge of inventory control processes and material flow management
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment safely
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with workplace safety standards
  • Candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in material handling or logistics roles
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Basic knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to a safe work environment
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory tracking software is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, and distribute materials and products within the warehouse or production areas
  • Ensure accurate inventory counts and proper documentation of material movements
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move goods as required
  • Collaborate with production, logistics, and inventory teams to support workflow and meet operational goals
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment adhering to company policies and safety regulations
