Material Handler (Inventory)--3:00pm - 11:30pm

Hilco Vision has a state-of-the-art facility in Fairfield, Ohio! We are currently searching for an experienced Material Handler to join the team! The Material Handler is responsible for conducting put-aways, transferring shipments to their designated areas, and overall material replenishment for the Inventory department. The hours for this role are 3pm - 11:30pm, we pay weekly.
Requirements
- Adhere to all organizational safety practices including following appropriate procedures, as well as the proper wearing of required PPE in designated areas
- Attention to detail and processes in order to reach a common goal of producing a great product for all customers
- Able to work independently and within a team environment; understanding that the customer need is of the utmost importance
- Understanding of the basic operations of a distribution center
- Able to read inventory reports and conduct basic math calculations
- Comfortable with using a ladder.
- Capable of lifting boxes that weigh up to 30lbs
Responsibilities
- Review the inventory for packaging supplies and reorder as necessary. Materials include, but are not limited to ice packs, corrugated boxes, packing paper, box tape etc.
- Replenish shipping stations, and pick carts with materials pickers and shippers use throughout the day
- Replenish totes throughout the warehouse as needed
- Prep and wrap pallets using automated pallet wrap and pallet jacks
- Transfer packages from our shippers to designated consolidation areas
- Organize inventory locations based on product demand, quantity and size
