About The Position

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is the largest manufacturer of tile and natural stone in the United States. We are seeking an intermediate-level Material Handler to join our TEAM. As a material handler, we need someone experienced in stocking, checking, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials. This role operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to the packing station or the shipping area.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent experience.
Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator.
1 or more years of previous distribution/warehouse experience.
Minimum of 6 months of previous stand-up forklift, sit down forklift and order picker equipment experience.
Ability to understand and speak basic English.
Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Nice To Haves

No experience required for pallet jack.

Responsibilities

Pulls/assembles customer orders.
Checks outbound orders for accuracy/completeness.
Performs inventory stock checks.
Restocks and labels vendor products.
Maintains displays (tools, caulk, etc.).
Moves, stores, and replenishes materials.
Conducts daily cycle counts.
Receives and unloads inbound material.
Processes inbound shipments.
Stocks material.
Processes customer returns.
Notifies management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
Operates forklift equipment.
Maintains a clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance, etc.
Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to Management.
Performs other related duties as required.
