About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Material Handler II (2nd Shift) for fabrication in Hodges, SC. This position is responsible for material movement within the facility with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity. The role will handle material for the Low Voltage Assemblies and will work with a team, flexing into all areas of the warehouse and logistics department as needed.

Requirements

Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship
6 months of manufacturing experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
6 months of experience operating a PIT (Powered Industrial Truck)

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts to safely move, stack, load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Perform routine forklift inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure equipment remains in optimal working condition.
Verify delivery accuracy, inspect materials for damage, and safely dispose of scrap materials (excluding metals) according to established procedures.
Accurately complete inventory transactions, cycle counts, and material movements using the MRP system in a timely manner.
Adhere to standard operating procedures, method sheets, WSRA requirements, and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment (5S+).
Communicate effectively using radios and other tools to coordinate tasks, prioritize workload, and collaborate with team members.
Demonstrate flexibility, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing work through strong relationships and process focus.
Perform physical job requirements, including lifting up to 40 lbs and pushing or pulling up to 100 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
