About The Position

Litehouse Foods is hiring a motivated, detail-oriented Material Handler II for its food manufacturing operation. This role uses powered industrial trucks to move materials, fulfill customer orders, and receive vendor shipments while maintaining accurate inventory records and meeting quality, food safety, and workplace safety standards. The position works in a cool, refrigerated environment and may require overtime and weekend work. Starting pay is $19.97 per hour, with an additional $3 per hour for third shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred; certification can be provided if needed.
• Comfort working in a cool, refrigerated environment.
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
• Pick and stack customer orders and receive vendor shipments accurately and safely.
• Maintain precise inventory records using handheld scanners and internal systems.
• Ensure proper stacking patterns and pallet configurations to meet quality and safety standards.
• Keep workspaces clean and organized through regular housekeeping duties.
• Follow Food Safety and Quality policies at all times.
• Work overtime and weekends as required.
