About The Position

ACEMCO Incorporated, a custom contract manufacturer, is seeking a Material Handler for its 3rd shift. This role supports manufacturing, production, and shipping/receiving functions by moving materials using a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) or other equipment. The primary focus will be on moving raw materials and finished products, but the position requires a willingness to learn and train in other plant areas. Driving a Hi-Lo will not encompass the entire role.

Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Must maintain corrected vision and meet all requirements to operate a PIT as outlined by regulatory commissions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Powered Industrial Truck to move or load products, materials, etc., safely.
• Adhere to all safety specifications including stacking heights, seat belt use, speed limits, and signage.
• Maintain a high level of awareness of surroundings when operating a Hi-Lo to ensure the safety of all associates, product, and equipment.
• Perform battery charging and changes safely, adhering to company guidelines.
• Stack product and materials in various environments safely.
• Perform inventory-related and/or coil hanging functions as needed.
• Function as a member of a work team, identifying safety and process improvements within the facility.
• Perform additional functions as directed by a supervisor/manager.
