About The Position

Litehouse Foods is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler II to join their team. This is a temporary position on the 2nd shift, with a starting pay of $19.97/hr plus a $1.50/hr shift differential. Litehouse is a 100% employee-owned food manufacturing company with a strong reputation and commitment to its employees and communities. They are a leader in refrigerated salad dressings, dips, sauces, herbs, and cheese, with four U.S. facilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred
• Forklift experience preferred (we'll provide certification if needed)
• Comfortable working in a cool, refrigerated environment
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to work independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Must be able to pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) to move, load, unload, and stack materials
• Pick and stack customer orders and receive vendor shipments accurately and safely
• Maintain precise inventory records using handheld scanners and internal systems
• Ensure proper stacking patterns and pallet configurations to meet quality and safety standards
• Keep workspaces clean and organized through regular housekeeping duties
• Uphold and follow Food Safety and Quality policies at all times
• Work overtime and weekends as required
