2nd Shift Material Handler II

Traffic and Parking Control Co•Brown Deer, WI
•$22 - $26•Onsite

About The Position

The Material Handler II is responsible for accurately and safely receiving, storing, packaging, and shipping products entering and leaving TAPCO. This role requires flexibility, the ability to adapt quickly to change, and an interest in growth. Material Handlers have broad knowledge of distribution center tasks, perform some at a high level, and are cross-trained to switch roles when needed. This is not a dedicated forklift operator position: employees move throughout the building and are on their feet while alternating between equipment and other tasks. Forklift certification is not required; TAPCO provides training on stand-up and sit-down forklifts, joeys, and other equipment. Training may cover picking, packing, small pack processing, receiving, and freight. The role contributes to key distribution center metrics that feed into the companywide gainsharing program. The second-shift schedule is Monday through Thursday, 1:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and Friday, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pay is based on experience, with a shift differential included in the base rate for second shift.
