About The Position

Planet Aid is seeking a Material Handler II to support warehouse operations involving the handling, processing, and movement of donated materials. The role helps ensure materials are sorted, processed, and prepared safely and efficiently. Planet Aid collects and recycles used textiles to protect the environment and support sustainable development in communities around the world.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of warehouse or material handling experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and safety guidelines.
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and support production as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and bins.
• Sort donated items into appropriate categories for processing.
• Assist with scanning and tracking materials in the system.
• Operate and support baling equipment for material processing.
• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper storage after use.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe for daily operations.
• Support team members and production needs as required.
