About The Position

The Material Handler for E-commerce helps deliver a strong customer experience by preparing and shipping orders accurately and efficiently. As part of the production team, this role handles finished goods, tracks inventory, and ensures the correct products are shipped. The position requires working quickly in a fast-paced environment while remaining detail-oriented and using proactive problem-solving.

Requirements

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Problem-solving ability and capacity to make independent decisions.
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter.
• Effective communication across management levels and with customers.
• Two to three years of experience operating a sit-down forklift.
• Ability to make quick decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail for labeling and inventory tracking.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, scan guns, and pallet jacks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with UPS and FedEx shipping systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years of work experience in customer service, warehouse management, or order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Pick merchandise, label boxes, and ship orders as part of daily order fulfillment.
• Manage the storage and transfer of finished products, using inventory management systems to track them accurately.
• Monitor open orders and resolve issues to help ensure customers receive the correct products.
• Perform cycle counts and work with operations to reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Operate sit-down forklifts, scan guns, pallet jacks, and Walkie riders to receive and ship goods; training is provided.
• Perform other warehouse tasks as needed to support operations.
