About The Position

This position is responsible for picking and pulling materials from stock using computerized manufacturing work orders and pick lists. The role involves receiving purchased component items, putting away inbound materials, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The Material Handler will also operate a forklift for loading/unloading trucks and moving materials, and may assist in the shipping function if cross-trained. Other duties as necessary will be performed.

Requirements

• Forklift experience a plus
• Familiarity with JDE
• Attention to detail is critical
• Must work with sense of urgency
• Effective communication and problem solving skills
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills
• Must support and work in a team environment
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs on a frequent basis and be able to work standing and walking most of the day
• Excellent attendance record and solid performance record
• Must be eligible to work in the US without employer sponsorship
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must have good reading skills and basic math skills

Responsibilities

• Picks/pulls materials from stock using computerized manufacturing work orders and pick lists.
• Receive purchased component items using JDE system.
• Put away all inbound materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records on all raw materials; process all required paperwork pertaining to materials.
• Operate forklift to load and unload trucks as well as move materials.
• May be cross-trained in shipping function to assist shipping personnel as needed.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
