This is a Material Handler II role in the storage department on 2nd shift with the work shift of Monday through Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm. Within the storage department, you will perform tasks such as retrieving material from manufacturing, transferring product to pallets, banding/wrapping product to pallets, storing pallets, staging trucks, and loading trucks. As well as using E1, Outlook, and Excel. You will also regularly use PIT equipment (power walkie, fork truck, pancake, stacker, and swing truck). In addition to daily tasks, you will participate in safety, quality, and process improvement initiatives. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year of general warehouse experience.
  • One to two years’ experience working with computers and basic software packages, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers).
  • Ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • Close vision and ability to adjust focus required.
  • Ability to work in different environments such as frozen, refrigerated, and ambient/room temp.
  • Ability to work at different heights on Powered Industrial Trucks such as an Order Picker.
  • Maintain knowledge of current import/export regulations as they relate to shipment of goods to and from the USA.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Self-motivated, self-starter with strong organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Successful in partnering with colleagues of differing cultural, language and educational backgrounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience handling hazardous materials (chemicals) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders daily to meet their expectations.
  • Work in one or more process paths; receiving, storing, picking, packing, or shipping.
  • Prepares shipping documents, coordinates shipments with couriers, and ships materials, including finished products, per applicable SOPs.
  • Ensure inventory is stored accurately.
  • Work with your team to make sure everyone has a magical experience every day.
  • Retrieving material from manufacturing.
