About The Position

The Associate Material Handler supports the operations of the plant daily learning/understanding how established targets are met and exceeded; ensures all packing schedules are attained, products are received timely and accurately, products are shipped timely and accurately, and the warehouse stays in a state of good standing. You are driven by the knowledge that the products you help make saves and sustain lives. You can move quickly, address questions, and encourage teammates, all while getting quality products out on time. You are calm, positive, and a key part of a fast-paced environment that emphasizes camaraderie and teamwork. Baxter is focused on saving and sustaining lives by manufacturing high-quality products. Requirements

  • HS diploma or GED equivalent
  • Organizational skills
  • Team player
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic Computer Literacy
  • Ability to lift 30lbs

Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently performs all assigned procedures – including receiving, shipping, distribution, material handling, picking, and goods movement.
  • Professionally and effectively communicate issues to leadership.
  • Willingness and ability to support business needs including overtime.
  • Actively participates in all change management/lean transformation activities.
  • Responsible for assuring safety and quality in all actions.
  • The role, including all day-to-day tasks and responsibilities, should therefore be executed while adhering to all applicable Safety and Quality Management policies, procedures, and requirements to ensure an optimal level of safety and quality in both our products and services.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
