About The Position
This position supports Novanta’s Robotics & Automation businesses, including ATI Industrial Automation and Novanta IMS. These teams develop industry-leading solutions spanning robotic end-of-arm tooling, force/torque sensing and integrated stepper motors that enable high-performance automation systems across a wide range of industries. As a Material Handler, you will ensure timely and accurate movement of materials within the facility. Your responsibilities will include packaging, shipping, and receiving and distributing materials.
Requirements
- Ability to operate forklifts or other equipment for material movement
- Skills in loading and unloading materials
- Attention to detail for verifying shipment accuracy
- Proficiency in packaging and labeling goods
- Experience with inventory record maintenance and cycle counts
Responsibilities
- Moving materials to and from storage areas using forklifts or other equipment
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks and other vehicles
- Verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Packaging and labeling of produced goods
- Maintaining inventory records and performing regular cycle counts
