This role involves engaging in packaging, loading, unloading, storing, and transporting materials and products. The Material Handler is responsible for on-time delivery and quality related to shipping functions, and ensures correct SAP transactions for inventory movements. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least 6 months of sit-down forklift experience within the past 4 years, and qualified industrial equipment operation skills. Experienced computer knowledge and a valid driver's license are also necessary. The role follows EH&S policies, participates in SWATs, and performs all shipping/receiving requirements safely, adhering to C-TPAT regulations. Responsibilities include operating material handling equipment, loading/unloading vehicles, internal material movement, maintaining logs, transferring finished goods, performing cycle counts, and investigating inventory variances. Daily equipment inspections, SAP transactions, and collaboration with supporting departments are also key duties. Effective communication, good housekeeping, and adherence to safety procedures are expected. The role may act as a courier, use hand tools, and support the 5S program. Other assignments and duties as required, including assisting other departments, may be assigned. The job description is subject to change.
