About The Position

Responsible for operating forklifts and cherry pickers to unload materials and merchandise from incoming trucks and pick products for shipment. The role involves accurately picking, weighing, checking, and packing orders, while observing customer-specific requirements. The employee also helps maintain supplies, inventory accuracy, warehouse cleanliness, and compliance with safety rules. The shift is 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Work takes place in a non-climate-controlled warehouse. The position requires prolonged standing and walking, frequent communication and handling of materials, reaching above shoulder height and below the waist, and lifting items weighing up to 20 pounds for 70% of the day and up to 65 pounds for 30% of the day.

Requirements

Certified to operate forklifts and cherry pickers.
Strong proficiency in English communication, including reading, writing, and verbal interactions, to comply with safety protocols and operational procedures.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
One or more years of related job experience preferred.
RF handheld experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and cherry pickers to unload incoming materials and merchandise and pick products for shipment.
Accurately pick parts throughout the warehouse.
Weigh products using the proper scales.
Check part numbers and quantities with a high degree of accuracy.
Pack orders accurately into shipping cartons and verify that all components are accounted for and assigned to the correct customer.
Read customer order notes and fulfill any special customer requirements.
Maintain stock of warehouse and shipping supplies.
Assist with physical inventory counts and perform inventory audits as needed.
Notify the Department Lead or Department Supervisor of stock shelf issues.
Report defective materials or products, shortages, and questionable conditions to the Lead or Supervisor.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and orderliness.
Follow all safety rules.
Perform other duties as assigned.
