About The Position

Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site. This role involves pulling/transferring and servicing inventory to different factories, fulfilling production schedules, and meeting quality and productivity goals while complying with company safety standards. The employee will also be forklift certified.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few variables in standardized situations.
Working knowledge of Windows software.
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Frequently.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Occasionally.
Must be able to assist with team lifting of loads in excess of 50lbs Occasionally.
Must be able to work on your feet including, standing for the entire length of the shift, which are up to 10 hours.
Must be able to work in and around manufacturing and production equipment, which includes frequently climbing ladders, bending, stooping, standing, walking, twisting, kneeling, and reaching.
Must be able to see/hear to visually and audibly acknowledge critical safety instructions, alarms, forklift traffic, perform quality inspections, and equipment inspections.
