About The Position

The Material Handler I position focuses on preparing and loading orders for Hobart domestic customers, as well as performing other required tasks. This includes picking domestic orders using a scan gun, managing assigned domestic shipments, handling all associated paperwork and shipping documents, and loading and unloading trucks. The role also involves meeting required productivity levels, receiving, moving, and replenishing products, and stocking material according to stock rotation policy. Additionally, the Material Handler I will be responsible for cycle counting inventory and other inventory-related duties, gathering and reporting non-conforming material, and performing other duties as needed. Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain a valid Fork Truck/Order Picker License
  • Must lift 70 lbs. + repetitively
  • Must have excellent safety, quality and attendance record
  • Must be a driven self-starter who requires minimal supervision
  • Will need to learn D365, and other software as needed
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work overtime
  • ITW Toolbox skills will be utilized
  • Teamwork / communication skills required
  • Cross training is required
  • Must be able to manage time and prioritize tasks

Responsibilities
