About The Position
This role is responsible for efficiently pulling parts for orders, shipping and receiving product, assisting in inventory counts, moving stock throughout the system, and maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse. The position requires the ability to operate a forklift, climb ladders, and push carts while picking and shipping product. Maintaining system accuracy and assisting with customer service or counter sales are also key aspects of the role.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 year of work experience.
- Strong comprehension of verbal and written work expectations.
- Able to work independently and within a team environment.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize to meet the expectations of the customer.
- Detail oriented; motivated to provide the highest level of quality.
- Familiar with Microsoft office tools including, Outlook, Word, Excel, and web applications.
Responsibilities
- Ship product per FORCE America defined expectations for carriers.
- Receive product per FORCE America best practice.
- Safely operate a forklift.
- Move throughout the warehouse to pull and pick orders.
- Climb ladder to store and pull product.
- Push product on cart throughout warehouse (while picking and/or shipping product).
- Stock inventory.
- Utilize inventory count sheet to conduct daily inventory cycle counts.
- Optimize shelving capacity.
- Communicate with external providers.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Maintain system accuracy and record transactions in ERP operating system.
- Assist in customer service or counter sales.
- Other duties as assigned.
