Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 1 year work experience in warehouse environment managing hazardous and non-hazardous inventory through electronic systems preferred.
Current driver’s license required to operate company vehicles.
Ability to be fit tested, trained in use of respirator.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Excellent attendance, flexibility, enthusiasm and a positive approach to work performance
Basic math and writing skills
Strong communication skills
Familiar with basic warehousing procedures
Basic understanding of work prioritization
Basic PC skills, including competency in MS Office products
Basic knowledge of hazardous material identification

Nice To Haves

SAP managed inventory experience preferred.
Previous fork lift operation & certification
Computerized warehouse management system experience preferred

Responsibilities

Executes the proper Staging, Handling, Labeling, Transportation , and Storage of all goods within and related to the Givaudan Samples facility.
Executes basic inventory management principles with guidance from leadership.
Transfer of materials using a forklift, following all safety protocols.
Discards - removes obsolete materials from inventory while following guidelines associated with hazardous waste handling.
Cycle counting - as assigned by scanning items and working with the department Lead to resolve inaccuracies.
Pick for Trial Order production - stages raw materials for production and returns used inventory to warehouse.
Maintains Obsolescence budget by completing accurate inventory records (weights, proper storage, and correct status).
Maintains a clean, organized work area by meeting or exceeding General Housekeeping, and Master Sanitation requirements.
Contributes to the overall safety of the department by following all safety guidelines.
Responsible for inventory accuracy , reports all errors timely.
